The core competence of ABAS is the development of flexible ERP and eBusiness software for midsize companies with up to 1000 employees. The offices in Karlsruhe have 115 employees and including around 50 abas partners worldwide there is a total of approximately 600 employees.

abas Business Software consists of two components: abas ERP is a flexible ERP standard software, which optimizes business processes within a company. In addition, abas ERP provides a variety of web and eBusiness applications, such as product catalogs and webshops, which access ERP data.

ABAS has supported the Open Source operating system Linux since 1995. The flexible standard business software is also in the front end range using Linux. As has already been the experience on the server side, Linux is also distinguishing itself on the client side through great stability and excellent performance.
