Do you always remember where you are? "Not always," says Forscht with a smile. "It has happened to me that I arrived at an airport and looked at the display at baggage claim and had to try to remember where I just had come from: Shanghai, Hong Kong, Jakarta?" The passionate marathon runner and paragliding fan continues, "I get nervous when I have to sit in the office for three weeks in a row. I want to get out, plunge into new situations and tackle new challenges. I want to experience something entirely new and find a solution for this situation. This is what I really like to do. This passion is also due to my hobby: brain teasers. In my free time I like to occupy myself with mathematics, theoretical arithmetic and questions such as 'Riemann's conjecture for the zeta-functioning' or the Poincaré conjecture."

With every detail in mind and keeping an overview of his many tasks, that is how many employees see Werner Strub.  He wouldn’t be able to handle the work volume as CEO of the ABAS Software AG in any other way. Unfortunately that leaves little time for his passions: riding motorbikes, paragliding and sailplaning. That despite his many tasks the focus still lies on his employees is noticed when you watch him walking through the corridors of the ABAS Software AG. Each of the around 115 employees in Karlsruhe is greeted by name. Also at the constantly growing events, like the abas Partner Day with around 300 participants and the abas Customer Forum with around 1000 people at times, he personally welcomes customers, partners and employees. He makes no difference when speaking to a manager or an administrator. What he values in a person it not what position they have, but what character they have. If one were to describe the 56 year old in two words, it would be: a character person.

ABAS Force (China) Limited welcomes its new customer Landtop Faist. The company which is located in Beijing/ China designs, manufactures and installs noise control enclosures as well as acoustic test chambers and aero acoustic wind tunnels.

The abas system gmbh welcomes the Metrologie-Service-Braunschweig GmbH (MSB) as a new customer. The recently founded company MSB operates fully automated calibrating systems for the most important inspection, measuring and test equipment in quality assurance. In the future, MSB will control and monitor all cash and goods flow with abas ERP and the integrated document management system from HABEL as well as the abas eBusiness solution.
