AGITEC based outside of Lyon, France chose abas Business Software to optimize their expertise in designing and constructing all types of mixing and agitation machines. ABAS PGI France left all their competitors behind highlighting on AGITEC’s needs to boost their sales process and production department.

Right after entrance, you already realize by the naming of rooms where you are situated. Alpenblick, Linderhof or Nymphenburg are names that are given to 350 square meters of various office-, training- and meeting-rooms in a representative office building. Since April 2009, this place is home to the new ABAS Projektierung company.

The Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Trade of Saint Petersburg welcomes the ABAS Software AG to the Russian Market.

Germany and Saint Petersburg have a lasting history of especially efficient cooperation. Germany is traditionally the lead business partner of Saint Petersburg. The Volume of external trade between Saint Petersburg and Germany in 2008 increased by 10 percent from 2007 and now it is about $4.2 billion.

Ganz Motor Kft based in Budapest, Hungary is the newest abas ERP user in the global public transport market. Ganz Motor Kft, leader in manufacturing electric and diesel railcars, trams, and locomotives replaced their open source software with abas ERP.

A global personified access to company data or webshop-solutions that is safe and exchanges data in real-time is possible with the abas Business Software. It is based on an integrated combination of ERP- and eB-technology that is one of a kind on the medium sized business market. The opportunities that arise for corporate process optimization have been presented to the public on the abas eB user conference. The event was hosted by the ABAS Software AG and one of the partners, the ABAS Projektierung in Karlsruhe. It was an event from users for users, and two fascinated abas users presented their company‘s solutions which are based on the integrated interaction of abas ERP and abas eB.

The RSG GmbH is a manufacturer of control devices and modules. Their portfolio varies from plastic valves to coaxial- and non-standard valves. Even controls and instruments are part of the product range. This variety increases the demand to a company‘s business software. Until the end of 2006, RSG‘s IT was built on a hand full of isolated applications. It became incrementally difficult to balance all the needs in an acceptable software solution. RSG decided to replace their software with a new enterprise software. The replacement should be integrated, flexible, upgradable and easy to use. They found their perfect match in the abas Business Software. On January 2nd - 2007, the software went live. Ever since, the company‘s transparency and productivity have been increased, the lead time has been brought down and the delivery reliability has been enhanced as well.

A new customer of the abas Partner alltrotec GmbH is the Fraunhofer-Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems IKTS in Dresden. The institute covers the complete field of advanced ceramics, from basic research to applications. The services include the development and application of modern advanced ceramic materials, the development of industrial powder metallurgical technologies, and the manufacturing of prototypical components. Structural ceramics and functional ceramics are the priorities with emphasis on innovative complex systems which are applied in many industry sectors.

In the future, around 80 employees of the Dipl.-Ing.Wilhelm Winkelmann GmbH & Co. KG will optimize their business processes using the abas Business Software with the operating system, Linux. The family business which was established in 1921 is in the position, through its own development and construction department, to realize the customer's wishes in relation to the electrical and mechanical aspects, and to respectively manufacture electric machines in make-to-order and small batch production. The vertical integration ranges from an individual fabrication shop with the corresponding punching tools, right up to a generous testing space where each motor undergoes an individual check process. The implementation of abas ERP and the future support will be carried out by abas system gmbh.

GW Kabelbinder-Technik GmbH has also opted for the abas system and thus the abas Business Software. The company distributes a wide range of cable binders. The lockable products vary from 100mm and 1030mm in length, with a tensile strength of 8kg to 113.5kg.
