ABAS USA increased their customer footprint by adding Seed Hawk Inc, a company based in western Canada, to their arsenal of clients that continues to grow internationally . Seed Hawk, the world leader in manufacturing integrated zero tillage seeding systems, has replaced their out-dated accounting software with abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness).

ABAS USA opened the doors to their headquarters in order to host their 3rd annual user conference. Presentations and interactive discussions highlighted the flexible features of the product.

Users from many different companies learned about product innovations and new means to improve access to their information. The 2009 Users Group meeting was titled growth for ABAS USA. After moving to larger facilities and expanding the staff, ABAS USA has shown improved Q1 sales. Attending this year’s user conference were ABAS Software AG COO and founder Peter Forscht, and Alan Salton, President ABAS USA.

The abas Partner amotIQ sro in the Czech Republic and the ABAS Projektierung GmbH Nürnberg are happy to welcome another new customer. The Hammerbacher GmbH was founded as a joiner's workshop in 1887 and has gradually developed into a specialist office furniture factory with its own product development. Even today, they still produce all their furniture themselves. Their own wood and metal processing, powder coating and cardboard box manufacture mean that the company can offer a large vertical range of manufacture. The entire product range is stored in the central logistics center in Neumarkt, ready on call. The combination of expertise, reliability and motivation is the perfect basis for first class customer support and assured product quality. In the future, abas ERP will optimize the company’s business processes at the headquarters in Neumarkt, Germany, and the subsidiary in Pukanec, Slovakia. A decisive factor for the decision was the Slovakian localization of the abas Business Software.

A new customer of the ABAS Consulting GmbH & Co. KG is the Hofmann Maschinenfabrik GmbH. Machines have been developed, produced and built in series' here since 1919. This has brought a great deal of experience, innovation and enthusiasm in the area of wood processing machines. All machines are continually developed and improved, and not just when customers make remarks or suggestions. The declared intention for innovation and perfection led to a presentation of the universal rotating milling machine, VISION, in the year 2000. This machine revolutionized milling machine technology. A patent was registered in the same year for VISION.

The ABAS Informationstechnologie GmbH welcomes the computer center at the University of Regensburg, the central service provider for all information and communication technologies, as new customer. Furthermore, the "Services" department, as "internal computer retailer", provides hardware and standard software products for the university departments, affiliated Colleges of Further Education and university hospitals and has a special service department for this purpose. Approx. 20,000 devices are currently maintained. Professors, teachers and students of the University of Regensburg can also take advantage of this source of purchase and service department. The University of Regensburg will process its sales and purchase orders as well as services using abas Distribution in the future. Moreover, a webshop will be set up via abas eB, which will enable teachers and students of the University of Regensburg to place orders via the Internet in the future.

Zwönitztaler Holzbau GmbH offers garden sheds and semifinished products made of wood.They will be supported by the abas Business Software in the future. The abas partner alltrotec GmbH welcomes its new customer.
