The ABAS Software AG from Karlsruhe, provider of the abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness), together with C4B, has developed an interface using which XPhone CTI functions can be controlled directly from the ERP system (CTI = Computer Telephony Integration).

By integrating the C4B solution, recorded contacts can be dialed directly via a standard interface and, moreover, the respective abas contact data screen opens automatically, if desired, for incoming calls. Thus, conversational partners can be addressed directly and reaction times can be decreased significantly. With immediate effect the programming interface is contained in the standard of the abas Business Software and can be used with the CTI solutions XPhone Standard and XPhone Professional in the versions 2.0/3.0/3.1.

Worldwide approximately 50 abas sales partners ensure on-site customer support and service regarding the abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness). They guarantee short reaction times and high service quality. Approximately 545 employees work in the international abas environment.

85 employees work for the ABAS Software AG in Karlsruhe (Germany) in development, support and administration. Another 260 people work for the sales partners in Germany. 200 more employees work in the worldwide partner network in the abas environment. International partners in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Hungary, Poland, Rumania, Bulgaria, Turkey, the Czech Republic, France, Spain, Egypt, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Australia, Latin America and the USA represent the ABAS Software AG throughout the world.

The blacksmith's shop Kovarna VIVA Zlin with an annual turnover of approximately 450 mil. CZK is one of the leading blacksmith's shops in the Czech Republic. In the ERP selection process the business standard software of the Karlsruhe ERP and eBusiness provider ABAS Software AG prevailed, the support on site will be carried out by the Czech abas sales partner amotlQ.

In a ten-month selection process the Viva management was looking for a new ERP system, as well as a new implementation partner, who was to help Viva to realize the aspired goals. The abas Business Software which runs on a Linux platform was able to stand up to a lot of competition. Viva decided on abas ERP due to the high functionality in the areas cost accounting, controlling, production control and automotive supplier industry, as well as the high flexibility which enables a fast ERP implementation and a quick ROI (Return on Investment).

For the fourth time Midvision took place in Karlsruhe - the only IT trade fair for medium-sized businesses in Baden-Wuerttemberg. The IT trade fair for medium-sized businesses targets the South-West, Germany's strongest business region. 140 exhibitors (2005: 131) presented their products and services in Karlsruhe from June 21 - 22, 2006. The focus of the trade fair was placed on customer contact management, IT security, business solutions, business process management and midrange solutions. The trade fair was able to register 3,700 visitors.

At the abas stand D12 visitors were provided with information about the abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness). The abas partners were able to make some interesting contacts. "A plus is the strong focus on IT topics which are relevant to medium-sized businesses such as business solutions or business process optimization. Moreover, the focusing on the automotive and processing industry are very promising," says Werner Strub, CEO of the ABAS Software AG.

N-K Manufacturing Technologies LLC has decided on the abas Business Software. The American company manufactures customized injection molding parts. 80 employees guarantee a smooth process from production up to delivery. The implementation, as well as the future support, will be carried out by ABAS-USA Inc.

Rohm GesmbH & Co. KG has opted for abas Trade. Rohm is an international wholesaler for gemstone necklaces, corals, freshwater cultured pearls, opals and clasps. Their headquarters are in Linz (A), with branches in Vienna (A), Basel (Ch), Brescia (I) and Henderson (USA). The introduction and future support will be carried out by the abas Partner on site, Nittmann & Pekoll GesmbH.
