Success on SYSTEMS 2005: ABAS gains 3 new customers

ABAS at Systems trade fair 2005SYSTEMS 2005 came to an end on October 28, 2005. ABAS and the abas partners looked back on five turbulent days. Many qualified contacts, as well as 3 contract conclusions with SERRA Maschinenbau GmbH, SVG Germany GmbH and Wackershauser Zerspannung made the trade fair appearance of the abas group a great success.

To maintain this high quality and to even further increase it, SERRA Maschinenbau GmbH has opted for abas Business Software. On the ABAS Software AG stand at SYSTEMS, SERRA manager Johann Fritz and Heinz Koldt, manager of the abas Software Partner Koldt GmbH, concluded the cooperation.

Also on Systems 2005, Werner Wackershauser, CEO of Wackershauser Zerspannung, and Dieter Götz, sales manager of ABAS Projektierung GmbH, concluded their future cooperation regarding abas Business Software with a glass of sparkling wine. In 3 locations and with about 100 employees the company Wackershauser Zerspannung produces, among other things, CNC turned parts, coatings and body sheets for the automotive industry.

SVG Germany GmbH in Ötisheim, a trading house for sport medicine products, therapy and electrotherapy accessories, will be using abas Business Software from January 1, 2006. The abas Software Partner SteinhilberSchwehr AG and SVS Germany GmbH concluded the cooperation on Systems 2005. SVG represents fitness, physiotherapy and prevention.

IT distributor strengthens its market position thanks to modern ERP system

  abas customer DDC

With an extensive portfolio of network and telecommunication technology, established own brands, high readiness to deliver and extensive service, Digital Data Communications (DDC) has become a market leader. The company, located in Dortmund, relies on the ERP system of the Karlsruhe system provider ABAS AG and the know-how of the IT system vendor SteinhilberSchwehr to organize their trading operations.

A special feature, the active DDC Webshop, which is available to all customers and is based on the abas Business Software can be used since September 2004. This module makes the introduction to eBusiness easier for abas users. In the Webshop it is not only possible to view all products 24/7. The individual terms, as well as the current delivery availability are recorded for all registered customers. All the data necessary are available in the ERP and are displayed in the Webshop in realtime.

“Many time-consuming processes were automated with the software. The number of employees and thus the fixed costs in administration remained constant, despite a considerable increase in turnover. The ROI which we had in mind was calculable and really occurred,” says the DDC managing director, Gerhard Schleiken. This is also confirmed by the current business numbers which abas Business Software provides to the management.
