| ABAS on Midvision and LinuxTag | |||
| With Midvision and LinuxTag two IT trade fairs located in Karlsruhe are approaching. This is a home game for the Karlsruhe software provider ABAS Software AG which develops flexible business software (ERP, PPC; MRP, eBusiness) for medium-sized businesses. Qualified trade visitors of Midvision/Midrange will not only find a competent trade fair from June 8th to 9th , but will also find further training and company training events in the Neue Messe in Karlsruhe. On stand C12 ABAS presents the abas Business Software for medium-sized businesses in production, trade and service. From June 22nd to 25th LinuxTag will open its gates in the Karlsruhe Kongresszentrum. The LinuxTag is the biggest trade fair and conference on ”Linux and free software” in Europe. The Linux pioneer ABAS will present its ERP and eBusiness solution on stand D82. |

| ABAS and EASY cooperate | |||
| ABAS Software AG, based in Karlsruhe, a leading provider of ERP software (Enterprise Ressource Planning) for medium-sized businesses, and EASY SOFTWARE AG, located in Mühlheim on Ruhr, a provider of archiving and document management systems, agree upon a closer cooperation. ABAS as well as EASY are using the most modern technologies such as J2EE (Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition) and are platform-independent. Both software packages are characterized by high flexibility, adaptability and the possibility to integrate additional solutions. Werner Strub, CEO of ABAS Software AG and Jörg Stappert, responsible for the partner distribution of EASY Software AG, agreed upon an increasing cooperation with regard to medium-sized businesses on CeBIT 2005. |

In the category for ”Performance using the implemented ERP system" the criteria user-friendliness, performance in practice, stability, price/performance relation, openness, adaptability and learnability are rated. The abas Business Software achieves the best result in the aforementioned categories. |

| In the category for ”Service performance of the contractual partner” the users rate the implementation support, upgrade support, contact persons, industry sector consultation quality, training courses and helpdesk quality. The abas users also give top grades here. In the next issues of the abas Newsletter we will present the detailed results of the ERP study in extracts. |

| Further abas subsidiary in China Shenzhen | |||
| For over two years ABAS Business Solutions (PRC) has been the sales partner of the ERP and eBusiness provider ABAS Software AG, located in Karlsruhe, for China and Hong Kong . | |||
The software provider is now establishing another office in Shenzhen. So far, ABAS Business Solutions (PRC) was represented in Shanghai and Hong Kong, another office in the special economic zone Shenzhen is now added. Eleven employees will distribute, implement and support the flexible ERP solution in the new subsidiary. |

| Linux initiative in Hong Kong: ABAS / IBM / Novell | |||
| ABAS Business Solutions (PRC) Ltd., IBM China/Hong Kong Limited and Novell Hong Kong Limited have announced to launch a Linux initiative for promoting the rapid distribution of Linux applications. Local companies will then be able to use abas ERP with IBM’s new eServer OpenPower 710 and Novell SUSE LINUX. At the IBM OpenPower Technology Center in Hong Kong, IBM and Novell will now jointly offer technical service and support for ABAS in order to further develop the ERP solution using eServer OpenPower 710 and the Novell SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server. This makes it easier for ABAS to enter this market segment and allows the company to offer a new technology platform for abas ERP using Linux – at the same time its development costs are reduced. |

| Cabero Wärmetauscher GmbH & Co. KG is a new customer of the abas partner Koldt GmbH. Cabero is a competent partner when designing and implementing innovative systems for the refrigeration and air conditioning technology. Cabero also stands for the optimized connection of control technology to building control as well as measuring and controlling systems. In 1996 an own production site in Hungary was established. Since 2003, Cabero has been expanding in Europe by establishing several subsidiaries, new plants in Australia and China will be established by 2006. The following commercial lines are being supplied by Cabero: automotive industry, IT industry, air conditioning, wholesalers, hospitals, commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration and others. Tako International Ltd. in Hong Kong distributes various gift articles. In the future, the trading company will rely on abas Trade, abas eB will be used for eBusiness applications. The ERP and eBusiness project will be supported by ABAS Business Solutions (PRC) Ltd. |
