| ABAS Consulting GmbH + Co. KG was able to convince another workshop for the handicapped, the Erthal-Sozialwerk GmbH, of abas ERP. The Erthal-Sozialwerk wants to improve the quality of life of mentally disturbed or handicapped people by taking care of their special needs. 75 users of the Ewald Kaufmann GmbH + Co. KG are changing to abas ERP from the old system Comet. The company with 250 employees is a new customer of the ABAS Projektierung GmbH. Kaufmann GmbH supplies the automotive, jumper cable, electrical and electronics industry, micromechanics and engineering as well as the watch and jewellery industry. The company, which was founded in 1923, produces stampings and forming parts as well as fans and ventilation products. Two business locations will be connected via leased line. |

| The TWK-SENSORIK GmbH has opted to use abas Business Software from next year on. The company belongs to the electronics sector and has been developing and producing sensors for angle, length and path measurement in Hamburg, Germany, since 1967. Basically, two production lines can be distinguished at TWK-SENSORIK: the electro-optical angle encoders and the inductive position encoders. Three years ago, the inductive position encoders were included in the product range, and a year ago magnetostrictive scanners were added. Fields of application of their measuring instruments are: paper and printing machinery, cranes, ramp controls, warehouse systems, medical engineering and many others. As a small series and make-to-order producer, TWK-SENSORIK GmbH will soon have 20 ERP terminals in operation. The ABAS Systemhaus GmbH in Reinbek, Germany, will replace the PPS system (an individual solution) presently used by the company by the abas ERP system. | ||
