30 years of ABAS

Karlsruhe, 23.08.2010 – with every detail in mind and keeping an overview of his many tasks, that is how many employees see Werner Strub.  He wouldn’t be able to handle the work volume as CEO of the ABAS Software AG in any other way. Unfortunately that leaves little time for his passions: riding motorbikes, paragliding and sailplaning. That despite his many tasks the focus still lies on his employees is noticed when you watch him walking through the corridors of the ABAS Software AG. Each of the around 115 employees in Karlsruhe is greeted by name. Also at the constantly growing events, like the abas Partner Day with around 300 participants and the abas Customer Forum with around 1000 people at times, he personally welcomes customers, partners and employees. He makes no difference when speaking to a manager or an administrator. What he values in a person it not what position they have, but what character they have. If one were to describe the 56 year old in two words, it would be: a character person.

Peter Forscht, COO of ABAS Software AG:
Karlsruhe, 23.08.2010 – For every chronobiologist dealing with the mechanism of the genetically programmed circadian rhythm and its adjustment to the daytime structure of its environment, Peter Forscht would be a good research object: just as others take the subway to go from work to the gym and then back home, he constantly travels back and forth between continents. This is an ideal characteristic to establish the international abas network.

Heless: Satisfied Customer since 1986

Karlsruhe, March 5th, 2010 - Heless, located in Germany, has been producing doll's accessories and toys for girls for over 60 years. Today, the family company is successfully managed by Beate Becker. It was she who, as a young boss in 1983, decided to lead the midsize company into the age of electronic data processing. The young businesswoman did not select one of the usual software solutions by one of the large hardware manufacturers like Siemens, IBM or Nixdorf, but gave the newcomer ABAS a chance. A decision she did not regret.

If management and employees of ABAS Software AG talk about him they always do so with utmost respect. He always focuses on what is important and is valued for his talent to explain complicated issues in a compact and comprehensible way. His trademarks are quick, well-founded decisions.

30 years of ABAS - 30 years of evolution
This year we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of ABAS Software AG. The official founding date is June 19th, 1980. Our result after 30 years is something to be proud of: continuous growth, a continuously increasing customer base worldwide, and an independence of banks and investors. Without interruption, we have been producing positive figures for 16 years. This really makes us proud.
