ABAS adds to its customer base during CeBIT 2010
Hannover, Germany, March 5th 2010 - Käppler & Pausch manufactures for over 400 customers of different branches. Their customer base includes small and medium-sized business, as well as craft enterprises and corporations. Major investments in the latest technologies and the most up-to-date techniques constiture an important success factor. Käppler & Pausch developed from a provider of simple sheet metal parts into a manufacturer of complex assemblies and are capable to manage difficult 3 D-cutting procedures. After continuous growth and changing demands, Käppler & Pausch needed a new ERP system, since it old system was not able to fulfil their demands. The ERP selection process was completed during CeBIT 2010 and Käppler & Pausch will move from isolated application to abas Business Software. Local abas software partner, alltrotec GmbH from Dresden, appreciates the collaboration during the selection process and is looking forward to a successful partnership.
30 Years ABAS - Minister of State Helmut Rau congratulates during CeBIT 2010
Hannover, Germany, March 4th 2010 - On his CeBIT visit, Minister of State Helmut Rau visited ABAS in Hall 5 Stand A18. ABAS celebrates its 30 year anniversary and the Minister of State used this opportunity to congratulate the two founders CEO Werner Strub and COO Peter Forscht. The minister received information about the CeBIT highlights and the international growth of the company.
ABAS announces international growth and introduces product innovations
Hannover, Germany, March 3rd 2010 - At the ABAS press conference CEO Werner Strub and COO Peter Forscht announced the international growth of the company, introduced several product innovations and reflected on 30 years of ABAS through the eyes of satisfied customers.
In 2009, for many companies a year of crisis, but for the ABAS Global Partner Network, it was a year of continuous growth. “Many mid-market companies used this year of uncertainty to re-structure their business processes in order to save costs and increase efficiency in the future, says COO of ABAS Software AG Peter Forscht. He adds, “Our Software Partners have great expertise in manufacturing and distribution. Combining this expertise with an evolutionary ERP software results in high customer satisfaction ratings, a key to global and long-term success.”
In 2010, the ABAS Global Partner network will expand its operations in North America, Western Europe, and Asia to ensure better service and support for their customers. “We aim for global growth. Promising Start at CeBIT 2010

Hannover, Germany, March 2nd 2010 - ABAS started its first day of CeBIT 2010 with a live webcast. COO Peter Forscht gave a presentation about "globalizing IT" and shared his business experience in foreign countries. This webcast was followed live by a worldwide audience and viewers asked questions online. Peter Forscht described the unique global network within the abas family.
On March 3rd at 15:30 hrs, CEO Werner Strub will be talking live on the CeBIT webcast about the topic: "what really matters for ERP users".
