	Many Highlights at abas customer Forum „Trends 2010“

	Karlsruhe, October 19th, 2009 –Customers from all over the globe gathered during September 24th and 25th to learn in a workshop atmosphere new trends and innovations about abas Business Software. New functionalities and features were presented to customers and software partners, always focusing on the users’ advantages.

	2009: Chances and challenges for the mid-market
	Werner Strub, CEO of ABAS Software AG, highlighted on chances and challenges for mid-market companies during economically rough times at this year’s opening speech. Hydrogen technologies are pushed forward by governments and multinational companies, with the background to produce fuel cells technologies in series. “This push towards new technologies, does not happen during an economic boom”, adds Werner Strub. abas Business Software offers plenty opportunities for companies to develop and implement their innovations. Companies, who optimize their business processes now, will be ready when the economy picks up.

	“Through alliances with software vendors, integrating web services, open source solutions and our own abas Portal, development of abas Business Software moves into new dimensions”, explains Peter Walser, CTO of ABAS Software AG. 	Gartner analysts ranked enterprise portals over everything else as the most relevant technology in the software industry. Peter Forscht, COO of ABAS Software AG, totally agrees with this statement and sees his purpose to translate technology to usage in a perspective that adds more value for customers.
