	Hongkong / Karlsruhe, April 3rd, 2009 – ABAS Business Solutions (PRC) Ltd. announced abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness) has been successfully applied by Global Sourcing and Logistics Limited (GSL) to its business development. GSL provides outsourcing services and caters for regional customers primarily focusing on supermarket chains, gifts and premium promotions in the Caribbean area. GSL supplies these customer groups with diverse consumer products ranging from house wear (e.g. kitchen wear, cooker, hardware, etc), season products (e.g. gifts for Christmas day), leisure furniture, barbecue tools and household appliances to textiles, etc.

	GSL Limited is the subsidiary of Cisneros Group of Companies in Hong Kong, one of the largest private-owned media, entertainment and consumer products organizations in the world. Founded in 1920 and based in Venezuela, Cisneros Group owns or holds interests in companies ranging from broadcast television, television production, telecommunications, beverage business to travel resorts.

	ERP Enterprise Management System
	With the rapid expansion of GSL, the variety of products and the data and network of suppliers greatly increased, which added cost and difficulties in having an efficient control on the suppliers & its supplier chain. All of these brought inconvenience for the management to make decision and affected greatly the sales progress and customer satisfaction. To realize the integration of department resources and cut down cost of supplier chain, GSL decided to implement ERP system and started to select ERP system partner globally.

	Introduced abas Business Software to Realize Efficient Supply Chain
	With careful evaluation and selection, GSL finally decided to use abas Distribution supplied by the Chinese abas Software Partner ABAS Business Solutions (PRC) Ltd. After nearly 10-month's system testing, the ERP solution abas Distribution went live successfully in GSL and was mainly used for purchasing & supplier management, sales & customer management, inventory management and financial management. The layer structure and data interface of the ERP system enable itself to be merged into the existing structure of GSL and realize the seamless connection with existing IT environment.

	Moreover, abas Business Software which runs under Linux is very safe and stable, and has very low TCO. Its upgradeability makes the system powerful to fulfill the company's development.
