	CeBiT Bilisim Eurasia in Istanbul: ABAS in Hall 2, Booth C-36

	Karlsruhe, Germany / Istanbul, Turkey, September 28th - CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia ranks sixth place amongst the ten biggest ICT trade shows in the world and will be held from October 7th to 11th, 2009 in Istanbul. Turkish abas Software Partner BEBIM will be presenting the highlights of abas Business Software in hall 2, stand C-36. Focusing on the new process-oriented approaches (POA) of the abas Business Software.

	CeBIT Bilisim Eurasia, which set off with the mission of making Istanbul one of the ICT capitals 10 years ago, is opening its doors as the largest business and technology fair of Eurasia for the 10th time this year. The fair, which will provide the platform for more efficient business negotiations with its differentiated structure in 2009 will introduce local and foreign business delegates new information technologies. It is the most important trade show for this sector in the whole of Eurasia and forms an international hub for ICT markets of Turkey, southeast Europe and the Black Sea region.

	Faster implementation with POA
	A newly developed series of Workbenches gives abas ERP users the advantage of being able to manage any process from a single screen. This new development revolutionizes the way ERP is implemented and used. ABAS delivers pre-defined configurable process-based workbenches. From these screens, users can create and manage transactions, utilize process flow and workflow, call external systems, and have access to all necessary information, instead of working with multiple windows or tabs. Key indicators and alerts allow abas users to make quick decisions and to optimize the management of business processes.

	Dashboards for Data Viewing
	ERP users have to handle a considerable amount of data each and every day. abas Portal supports them by providing new options for data preparation. The goal is to compile data and information that is necessary to achieve one or more goals, to consolidate them in a task-related manner, and to prepare and visualize them. In the abas Portal, so-called dashboards or key figure information systems provide the functions listed above, are easily configurable, and enable decisions to be securely made based on current financial figures. These financial figures are displayed in an intuitive display format and ensures a high performance workplace. In this way, the chart optimally supports those responsible for the corporate management. The abas Portal provides a web service that makes the corresponding data available. This information can be used and displayed within the portal and also outside of it. It is also possible to execute more complex queries using the Groovy programming language. For simple queries, the information will be compiled in a browser-based manner. The portal now also includes a new option for individually compiling an ERP command overview in a portlet.

	New Sales / Revenue Forecasting
	The new abas ERP sales/revenue forecasting application contributes to the greatest planning security possible. Sales figures for a future time period can be planned flexibly. Any time period can be selected, whether it’s one year, one month, or one week. The application is even flexible for data yet to be planned. New data or data from existing products, can therefore be used as a basis for planning. Both individual items as well as item groups can generally be planned. In addition, certain client groups can be planned specifically with regard to the region or client. The actual values, however, always contradict the target figures. A comparison between the target values and current values can be conducted quickly and easily. Since the plans are archived, even outdated values can be included. The sales/revenue forecasting can be constructed as a hierarchy. The new function range is connected to all other ranges of abas Business Software such as abas Corridor Controlling, for instance.
