	PECOCAR: First project for the new abas partner in the Netherlands
	In the future PECOCAR will use the abas Business Software for the production of composite boards

	Karlsruhe/the Netherlands, July 22, 2008 – In the future PECOCAR Holland B.V., a specialist in the design and development of composite boards, will control its company processes with the abas Business Software. The implementation will be carried out by the new Dutch abas partner AAA Base IT B.V. For years the Dutch IT company, which is located in Assen, has been specialized in the implementation and support of ERP systems in production companies.

	ERP system must cope with the requirements of the automotive industry
	PECOCAR transports panels in all varieties and sizes to clients each day in their own trailers. The composite board specialist PECOCAR, a subsidiary of the German company Pecolit Kunststoffe GmbH & Co. KG in the city of Schifferstadt, predominantly produces composite boards for the construction of cars, buses and motorhomes. PECOCAR thus requires an ERP system which reliably copes with the requirements of the automotive industry. In the last years they have also produces more and more composite boards for the building industry, packaging industry and the chemical industry. For these branches of industry as well the respective requirements must be coped with by the ERP system in the future.

	Focus on multilingualism
	PECOCAR: In the modern press hall, panels with dimensions of 4000 x 16,000 mm are produced. The parent company Pecolit Deutschland already uses the abas Business Software for controlling their business processes and is supported by the German abas partner SteinhilberSchwehr AG, Pforzheim. "With regard of the restructuring of our management structures and the integration of our subsidiaries abroad the company-wide preparation of key data is of great importance. What is also of importance to us is the use of the respective operating language in our different international sites," says Sven Schrothe, COO and project manager of Pecolit. "With abas ERP we can have independent operating languages for the individual users at the different sites." Both the user menu and the outputs of the abas Business Software are available in various languages.

	PECOCAR is constantly working on new innovations. For example the development of this panel with 3-D fibre. This panel is lightweight, strong and attractively priced. PECOCAR focuses on the production and assembly of sandwich constructions. In this field the innovative company has become one of the leading specialists in Western Europe.
