	ABAS Partner in China Awarded Caring Company Logo

	Karlsruhe and Hong Kong, February 25, 2008 – ABAS Software is proud to announce that its software partner in China, Abas Business Solutions (PRC) Ltd., has been awarded the Caring Company Logo at the Caring Company Recognition Ceremony 2007/2008, held on February 21, 2008. The award recognizes the company’s commitment to good corporate citizenship. ABAS was acknowledged based on its ability to satisfy the criteria of Volunteering, Employee Friendly, Caring for the Environment and Mentoring. The ceremony was organized by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS).

	The award recognizes ABAS’ care for social service sectors and its devotion to community activities. ABAS staff and customers are very proud of it. Mr. Vincent Lau, Chief Operating Officer of ABAS-PRC remarks, "We are pleased to be awarded the Caring Company Logo by HKCSS. The award goes to everyone in ABAS. It’s not only the honor of the company, but also the achievement of all our employees." ABAS has encouraged and supported volunteering among its employees and provided its staff with a family-friendly working environment for the past year. For example, paid leave was offered to employees who participated in voluntary activities, or those who had to deal with special private issues. ABAS has also supported environmental protection and encouraged employees to take measures such as two-sided printing. Additionally, the company has encouraged employees to share their experiences in information technology and e-Business with the public. As an IT company, ABAS has devoted most of its time to IT information sharing. Since 2004, ABAS has cooperated with non-profit organizations in this area. Partner associations include the Hong Kong Productivity Council and the Manufacturing Enterprise Integration & Innovation Association. Several seminars covering different topics were held and attracted many attendees. ABAS not only sponsored the events, but also had its employees prepare and present at the seminars to benefit the attendees.
	ABAS has also extended its care to post-secondary institutions. In 2006, ABAS donated an ERP system (valued at HK$1,000,000) to the City University of Hong Kong (City U). It also sent professional consultants to present a "Linux ERP" course in the School of Business at City U to give lectures on knowledge and abas ERP applications. The consultants spent much of their personal time on lecture preparation and presented corporate case studies in class. The course was so popular that it was offered again in 2007. As an award recipient of the Caring Company Logo 2007/2008, ABAS will continue to remain socially responsible and give back to the community.
