| ABAS - partner of the customers | |||
ABAS is optimistic about the future, an important message for each customer. Who wants to invest in a software which will no longer be supported in a few years? For the past thirteen years the software provider from Karlsruhe has been able to remain in the black. The equity capital amounts to a lofty 73% of the balance sheet total. On the basis of a solid liquidity, ABAS is financially independent and therefore a reliable partner for its customers. The further development of the abas Business Software always takes place in dialog with customers and partners of the ABAS Software AG. Respectively, customers will be informed about innovations, but will also be questioned about their experiences and development requests. In the opening lecture, the abas management will provide its customers with the current business data and, in addition, with an outlook to future technological developments. The new member of the management board, Peter Walser, will be introduced. He will support Werner Strub, who was promoted to chairman of the board, in managing the growing number of tasks. |

Presented will be, among others, the vendor connection at E. Ernst GmbH, as well as the Webshop at LANA GROSSA GmbH. | |||
| Further developments in the abas Portal | |||
| The abas Portal which was presented last year, was well received by customers. Its further development will therefore be this year's subject. The Portal provides a multitude of options to interact with and provide employees, business partners or customers with information. Using the abas customer and partner portals as an example it will be highlighted how Web appearances can be created using the integrated content management system and how these can be further expanded by integrating existing Websites and services. By the integration of interactive applications such as Web forums, Wikis or calendar, a community portal can be created, for example. | |||
