Karlsruhe, November 30, 2006 - Why should a medium-sized mechanical or plant engineering company take on the often very long way, compared to CeBIT or SYSTEMS, to visit the in-house exhibition by the VDMA? It is quite plain - nowhere else a user, who is interested in an IT solutions for his industry, has the possibility to directly compare the range of service of the various systems on the market with each other. Already for the fifth time, ABAS and the abas software partners presented their solution for mechanical and plant engineering companies on the PPS in-house exhibition on November 14, 2006 in Flörsheim. The success was impressive: from the beginning of the event until the end, the abas stand was very well frequented, many conversations were conducted and top-class contacts were made. |

![]() The use and the singularity of the event is due to its conception. For users from the capital goods industry, the VDMA defines typical functionalities and processes as industry standards and embeds them into scenarios. From ERP/CAD integration, to process management, delivery management, capacity management and change management, Ursula Bracke from the abas software partner ABAS Projektierung left no questions unanswered. Thus, the appearance on the trade fair can be summarized positively for abas. A large part of the 75 companies from the mechanical and engineering sector that came to Flörsheim were welcomed at the abas trade fair stand. The interest in the abas Business Software is huge. The VDMA member ABAS is already looking forward to the PPS in-house exhibition 2007. |
