	ABAS: New installations in German-speaking countries are growing

	Karlsruhe, May 23, 2006 - ABAS, the eBusiness and ERP software provider from Karlsruhe does not only grow on an international level but also in the German-speaking countries. Already in 2005 the IT provider was able to register a strong growth in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, another increase in abas installations is planned for 2006.

	Plus for new installations in German-speaking countries

	In the past years the markets in Germany, Austria and Switzerland could continuously be expanded with the aid of the on-site abas sales partners. In the year 2005, 111 new orders were completed in Germany, 15 in Austria and 7 in Switzerland (worldwide 183). Increases of 30% (Germany), 25% (Austria) and 40% (Switzerland) are planned for 2006.

	International markets with great potential

	The abas Business Software is available in over 25 languages and as the abas Business Software uses the Unicode character set, Chinese, Arabic and Cyrillic letters can be displayed. ABAS plans an increase in 27.5% of foreign-language installations for 2006. This means that 65 new projects will be added.
