The software provider from Karlsruhe, specialized in ERP and eBusiness solutions for medium-sized businesses, is one of the leading providers in Germany. For several years now the company has opted for international expansions and expands its partner network worldwide. With the French subsidiary company ABAS-TI in La Walck, the abas group has now about 50 sales partners.

ABAS-TI is located at the ADEC location in the Alsatian community of La Walck. ADEC means "Association pour le développement des entreprises et des compétences" (association for the advancement of businesses and competences). The association's main task is to advance the region Northern Alsace and to support business start-ups. ADEC in La Walck is a center for business start-ups for the IT sectory of industry.

During his visit at the end of July 2006, Werner Strub, CEO and co-founder of the ABAS Software AG, emphasized the potential of the location in which 24 companies with over 90 employees have already settled. After the contract had been signed, Strub met the Head of ADEC, Catherine Ledig. Ledig is especially happy about the subsidiary company from Karlsruhe. ADEC and the technology region Karlsruhe have been cooperating for several years in the areas research and development.

The company ABAS-TI in La Walck currently employs 4 people under the direction of manager Gaston Steiner. ABAS-TI is responsible for the sales, implementation and suppport of the abas software. Target group are medium-sized companies from Alsace and the Paris region. ABAS-TI is the second sales partner of the abas group in France. Another abas partner, the company Soft Pro Industries S.A. is located in Rillieux-La-Pape and supports the region in and around Lyon.

ABAS is present worldwide, occupies about 550 employees and cares for over 1,700 customers. Users of the abas Business Software (ERP, PPC, MRP, eBusiness) benefit from the international support. abas products are in the meantime provided in over 25 languages.
