ABAS and EASY agree upon cooperation  
     
  Karlsruhe, May 6th, 2005 – At CeBIT 2005, ABAS Software AG, based in Karlsruhe, a leading provider of ERP software (Enterprise Ressource Planning) for medium-sized businesses, and EASY SOFTWARE AG, located in Mühlheim on Ruhr, a provider of archiving and document management systems, agree upon a closer cooperation.  
     
  High name recognition and highest customer satisfaction  
     
  In their respective market segments ABAS Software AG as well as EASY were able to achieve high name recognition and highest customer satisfaction. In the annually conducted ERP study, carried out by the publisher Konradin, ABAS is among the top 5 ERP providers that are known in German medium-sized businesses and for the third time in a row achieves the top spot in overall standings with an average grade of 1.95 in the evaluation of abas Business Software by the users. According to the current study carried out by VOI in the fall of 2003, EASY SOFTWARE AG is the most known provider for document management systems and has highly satisfied customers. High quality standards and the experience of many thousand installations of both systems complement one another perfectly for the user’s benefit.  
     
  Many common installations  
     
  The abas Software Partner SteinhilberSchwehr AG and EASY SOFTWARE AG have been working together already since 1998. Numerous common installations of abas Business Software and EASY Enterprise already have been implemented. An interface to the new EASY ENTERPRISE x system will be available in the fall of 2005. The users are able to directly benefit from the project know-how of this cooperation that has proven itself over many years. ABAS as well as EASY are using the most modern technologies such as J2EE (Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition) and are platform-independent. Both software packages are characterized by high flexibility, adaptability and the possibility to integrate additional solutions. Werner Strub, CEO of ABAS Software AG and Jorg Stappert, responsible for the partner distribution of EASY Software AG, agreed upon an increasing cooperation with regard to medium-sized businesses on CeBIT 2005.
